At the first China Powder Industry Hundred People Forum in Guangzhou, Dr. Chen Jundong of LNPE presented research on key technologies for preparing new-energy battery material powders.
The forum was jointly initiated by the Powder Technology Branch of the China Electronic Materials Industry Association and the Powder Circle platform. Discussions covered manufacturing, new energy, production safety and environmental protection.
The presentation described steam-powered milling, using superheated steam to combine grinding with drying. Calcined coke and lithium carbonate were discussed as applications. It also introduced adjustable grinding intensity through airflow control for post-sintering ternary materials and powder agglomerates.
Results depend on feed properties, moisture, target particle size and operating conditions. Historical presentation figures are not guarantees for other materials.
